The Shire of Hartstone is proud to announce that we will be hosting the winter session of Ęthelmearc Ęcademy for Their Royal Majesties Rurik and Elsbeth! Come in from the cold and join us for a day of classes and merriment! The event will be held at United Methodist Church (37 Greenwood St. Canisteo NY 14823)

The site opens at 9 am and closes at 8 pm. Anyone on site after 8 is considered a volunteer for clean up. This is a dry site, no pets allowed and the upstairs is not handicap accessible. (please contact auto-crats for more details)

Anyone interested in teaching should contact Mistress Baroness Elizabeth Johanna von der Flossenburg at BOSTONHAHN@aol.com Or use the form on the A&S website. http://www.valgardr.net/~aecademy/registration/ We welcome classes of all kinds. Classes will be run in tracks, with breaks in-between.

Baron Sean William will be preparing a delicious feast for 96 gentles. Baroness Orianna and Lord Nigel will be preparing bag lunches for all who attend.

Bring your banners and proudly display your heraldry.

The fees for the event are as follows: $12.00 for On Board, $6.00 for Off board, Children 5-12 half price, under 5 free. Make checks payable to SCA, Inc. Shire of Hartstone.

Directions:

From East or West or South: Make you best way to I 86 (old 17) Take the Hornell Exit (#34) turn South on Rte 36. Stay on Rte 36 until you come to Canisteo. Once in Canisteo take the Right turn at first set of lights. This is Greenwood st. 2 blocks up is the church.

From the North: Find your best way to Rte. 36S. Stay on Rte 36 South until you come to Canisteo. Once in Canisteo take the Right turn at first set of lights. This is Greenwood st. 2 blocks up is the church.

There will be plenty of SCA signs.
