Unique artworks and exclusive experiences

Published 25 March 2014

Your chance to own work by an Academician and help us to continue to meet the cost of tuition fees for all students at the RA Schools.

  • There are just hours to go before the RA Schools Annual Dinner and Auction gets underway tonight in Burlington Gardens. Tickets for the event are no longer available and online bidding has now closed, but there is still time to place last minute bids on some incredible lots.

On offer are original works by Royal Academicians such as Jock McFayden, Chantal Joffe and Tim Shaw, and Ai Weiwei Hon RA. There are also specially commissioned Jesmonite eggs hand-painted by the likes of Eileen Cooper, Ron Arad and Bob and Roberta Smith; and exclusive experiences such as a monoprint class in the Schools, life drawing with Ronny Wood, or a private dinner with Anselm Kiefer.

To place your bids please contact Mayumi Tomita on 020 7300 5792 or on fundraising.events@royalacademy.org.uk

The proceeds of this fundraising event go towards the RA Schools. We meet the cost of tuition fees for all students accepted onto the course, which means we can offer places based on the creative potential of the candidates who apply – a principle upon which the Royal Academy Schools was founded in 1768.

The RA Schools is the oldest art school in Britain which continues to give an unparalleled opportunity for students to develop their work over a three year postgraduate degree, the only one of its kind in Europe. The RA Schools may be steeped in history but remains at the forefront of contemporary art, spearheading a new generation of international artists.
