The RA & Pin Drop Short Story Award offers a platform for emerging and established writers to showcase their short fiction. Like the Summer Exhibition, the competition is open to both professionals and amateurs alike. Juliet Stevenson’s narration of this year’s winning story joins our audio archive of narrations by acclaimed authors and actors including Stephen Fry, Will Self, Sebastian Faulks and Ben Okri.
This year’s judging panel includes Pin Drop Founders Elizabeth Day and Simon Oldfield, and the RA’s Artistic Director, Tim Marlow. Listen to last year’s winning story, Ms. Featherstone and The Beast by Bethan Roberts, read by Stephen Fry.
