This talk considers Anderson’s engravings alongside earlier, lesser-known works: drypoints of continental market scenes, etchings of down and outs in 1920s London, and alternative city views of construction and demolition sites. Meyrick pays close attention to the life and work of this now-marginalised British artist, whose printmaking career spanned nearly half a century.
