The RA and Pin Drop welcomed the award-winning and best-selling novelist Sebastian Faulks CBE for an exciting literary evening. Faulks, whose books have been adapted for film, TV and stage, read a short story in response to the art and themes presented in the RA’s landmark exhibition Rubens and His Legacy: Van Dyck to Cézanne.
Faulks, who is best known for his critically-acclaimed novels Birdsong (1993), Charlotte Gray (1999) and Human Traces (2005), concluded the evening with a Q&A.
