We are a school of contemporary fine art that offers 17 artists each year the opportunity to participate in an intense three-year programme. We are committed to providing an open, informed and critical environment for the personal and professional development of the artist.
The RA Schools was founded in 1769, and we remain independent to this day. This independence gives us the freedom to invent what we do. We are unique in offering the only three-year postgraduate programme in Europe. There are no fees and there is no curriculum: instead we offer a unique programme that responds to the specific needs of each individual artist.
